"Are We Dead Yet?"

~~From 5/23/2007 @ abt. 12 am

"Before a revival, there must be death.  Death to self, death to hope, death to faith....all hope lost, all hopes dashed.

Only when there is complete destruction and death to one's self, can there be an actual revival:  re-life; return-to-life.

Only what was dead can be resurrected, otherwise the term *revival* is a misnomer.

Desperation, loss, failure, inadequacy, lack, utter disappointment, complete despair, total discouragement, entire lives ruined, dreams killed, plans aborted, desires deferred, answers delayed indefinitely, health declining rapidly, emotions frazzled to (into) a weak string of sanity, finances lost and squandered, romances and loves destroyed and devastated (and not-a-reality)....and fearful doubts creeping into your soul...these are the ingredients for a true, honest, God-given revival.

***

For only when - and where - there is a need, will there be an answer, a response;  a fulfilling...of that need.

If there is no demand, there will be no supply.  If all is *status quo* and *business as usual*, there is no need for a Saviour to intervene.

Why rescue the secure? the affluent?  the rich and famous?  Only a person afflicted, sick, lonely, diseased, impoverished (poor), vexed (tormented), needy and desperate will see the need for help, for assistance, for divine intervention.

If a person *loves his life*, then (of) what use is any revival?  (To) what purpose is a revival?  Only the sick desire a physician.  Only the poor seek a benefactor.  Only the teachable will search for a teacher.

Only a beggar will ask for bread.

Only the thirsty will need a drink.  Only those lonely will pray for a friend.  Only the unemployed will look for work.  Only the weak will need a strong rescuer.  Only the sad and depressed will look for some joy.

Only the stressed will desire peace.  Only the DEAD will seek LIFE.  Only what is *dead* will need to be revived.

Only the insane will yearn for sanity.  Only the captive - the prisoner - will seek freedom.  Only the forgotten will seek to be known.

Only the neglected will look for concern and care.  Only the repentant will seek change.  Only the humble will see God. Only the meek will look for power.

Only the lost will need to be found.  Only those in darkness will look for (the) light.  Only the hurting will seek relief.

Only the oppressed (and the possessed) will want deliverance.  Only the tired will seek strength.  Only the desperately obedient will search out wisdom.

Only the guilty look for penance.(for atonement, mercy, grace, forgiveness)

*******

So, are you *dead* yet?

Are you satisfied with your life, your family, your world, your church, your city?

Are you smugly content:  not lacking anything?  Are you rich, fat (living in over-abundance), lazy, spoiled, greedy, selfish, satiated, gluttonous, hoardful (amassing wealth/goods for self) and arrogant?

If so, please read Revelation 3:15-17.  God says if we think we are *all set*...and we have need of nothing, then we are *lukewarm* in His world.  We are BLAH (blase), so-so, ineffective, deceived, etc.  We ARE dead, whether we realize it or not.  Many Americans fit the bill.

It's time for a check-up:  check your heart, your motives, your lifestyle, your attitude.  Are you *dead* yet?

Are you *secure* in your worldly circles, your plethora of amusements, your luxuries and your homes of expensive tastes?

***

The world and its ways:  its fashions, its social groupings;  is passing away.  Only what is eternally valuable will survive...will go on to Heaven's eternity.

Yes, there are pleasures galore on the earth;  in the world.... but they will not sustain you.

They will be of no use in the *day of reckoning*.  There WILL be a time of personal accountability to the Father.  He will judge whether a life was spent wisely or foolishly.

Be wise:  die to self:  die to selfish ambitions and narcissism.  Arrogance is futile in God's economy.

No one will impress God Amighty with huge investment revenue, stocks, talents, real estate, or  acquired wealth and riches.

Only wealth used for the Holy Kingdom of Jesus Christ the LORD will endure. If money is used to feed the poor, that is good and that is a Godly endeavor.  But, if money is lavishly spent on foolish sins, this is NOT wise.

God will forgive those who confess their sin(s)... and turn from their sins.  Those who die to sin will live Holy."

Scriptures

Revelation 3:15 - 17

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.   So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.   Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—" .... from the New King James Version  of the Bible/ New Testament (NKJV)

 Mark 2:17
"When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

John 12:25
"He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life."

"Deny the Monster"

~~From 3/17/2009 @ 7:19am

"Prepare for war.  The sickle is ready.  The harvest is near completion...nearly full-grown.  Both wheat and tares have reached maturity.  Tensions are high.  The cloud of God is about to burst upon the dry earth.

The war is rumbling ... war drums, war beats, marching, procedures drawn.   Nation vs. mation.  Churches vs. chruches.  A new day has begun.  It is a battle of the ages.... a battle for eternity....a battle for the very souls of men.

Think it not strange as you go forth into this new era....into the boiling, the melting, the swirl and the churning.

I have derision awaiting those who gloat:  those with fat, twisted, gnarled and ugly faces.

{ Writer's note:  This is symbolic.  "fat" = overly abundant, arrogant, proud;  "twisted" =  wicked, evil, satanic, devious;  "gnarled" = taken over by the enemy (willingly);  "ugly" = ugly with selfishness and vanity; with much-loved sins(idols) ;  and with defiant rebellion}

*****

Those who seek mercy will find it...  and those who seek to harbor evil and wrath,  will find themselves in the very midst of it.

Dark shadows await those who love such darkness.  Evil befalls those with evil intentions.  Hell is dripping with religious cadavers.  The stench of Gehenna  is burning with rich men, thieves, kings and evil rulers.  Not all who say "LORD, LORD" are Mine...don't you see!?

{Jesus here}

I seek to save the lost.  I seek out those lost sheep.  I cry.  I lead.  I cajole.  I send My promises.  I weep over them:  I intercede for them.  I ask My Father for them.

Some decide on their own selfish, proud way of destruction.  Yes, the way towards eternal death is wide:  wide open and alluring.

The wide way looks SO good to the flesh...to the lusting eye... to the greedy heart.  The way of hell is a trick.  It is a lie.  It is shrouded with wickedness and vile atrocity.  What looks good to the eye and feels good to the flesh is a lying wonder.  It is the wrong way.  TURN BACK from this path.

-pause-

Cast your cares upon Me, because I care for you.  I WILL lead you in the way everlasting.  I DO go to prepare a place for you....that where I am, you shall also be.

I desire all flesh to know Me, to be with Me  in Paradise.  I do NOT desire ANY soul to perish in the eternal fires.

So, come as you are...come to Me...I will accept you and I will love you.

-pause-

Seek Me now, while I may be found.  Seek Me and live.  Deny the monster.  Deny the Devil.  Deny Satan.  Deny sin.  Deny ways of religion.  Deny witchcraft.  Deny selfishness.  Deny deception.  Deny lying.  Deny fornication.  Deny adultery.  Deny all ways of the flesh that injure.

-pause-

Stand firm;  stand fast.  Remember My WORD.  Put it into your heart...into (your) memory.  It will help you.  It will feed you.  And it will comfort you.

I am the LIVING God and I want My creation to be alive in Me.  I want YOU to know Me.  I will not turn you away.  My arms are open to you now."
